iOS 10 Mail doesn't work with apostrophe in email address

My work email has an apostrophe in it, and when I add that account to Mail, I am not able to view/open any of my emails from that account or my other account (which doesn't have an apostrophe in the address). When I delete the account that has the apostrophe, my other account then behaves normally. Is Apple aware of this issue, and will there likely be a fix?

I am using an iPhone 7 and am on iOS 10.0.1

Thanks!

Hi, we have done extensive testing on this and can only say that the apostrophe is the cause of the problem from what we have found. We have many mobile users and if they use the native mail app on their iPhone they have no issues but if they are using Outlook on the iPhone and any of their aliases have an apostrophe in it they get blank emails when they open them and can only see the actually of the email if they forward it on at which point they can scroll down to the original email text. We have iPhones, Windows Phones and Android phones and this only happens on the iPhones and only since the upgrade to IOS 10.

HELP Apple, with the growing adoption of Office 365 this will become a serious issue for business users.
